Entry Writer/Client Service Representative

Requirements:

  • A solid job history with 3+ years experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the import process and transportation process for air and sea shipments
  • Ability to classify using HTSUS
  • Knowledge of Textile Entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Highly organized
  • Sense of humor

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts while providing excellent and timely customer service as well as accurate and timely submission of documentation
  • Solve problems in customs brokerage and freight forwarding activities
  • Prepare customs entries and facilitate freight delivery to designated locations
  • Respond to and anticipate customer inquiries
  • Work a rotating Saturday/Comp Day schedule
  • Review rates, trace product movement and file entries with Customs; classification and valuation
    of merchandise
