Team Leader Carolinas

Reports to:Operations Leader

Job Summary: The responsibilities of the Team Leader include organizing, developing, and maintaining processes, procedures and mechanisms related to business development and company growth. Using systematic processes and high-level organizational techniques to ensure A.V. Reilly successfully tracks, traces and maximizes its opportunities with new, existing, and potential clients. The Team leader is responsible for creating an environment that allows the entire team to provide meaningful work that allows individuals and communities to flourish.

Duties & Responsibilities       Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of all branch US Customs compliance and reporting
  • Experience with Vendor and contract management
  • Excellent planning, organizational and communications skills
  • New Client Set-up and coordination with Business Development Team
  • Ability to lead and ensure personal growth of self and all team members.
  • Successful track record at managing people and developing successful relationships.

Skills and Educational Requirements

  • Licensed US Customs Broker
  • Ten years’ experience in a brokerage or freight forwarding role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and non-verbal.
  • Knowledge of CargoWise One logistics software.

Reports to: Operations Team Leader

Job Summary

Responsible for: Local pickup and Delivery of Expedited/Exclusive Use freight, including Airport transfers. Support Pick and Pack Warehouse operations. Data entry to support inbound delivery of freight. This position requires extensive in person interactions, verbal and written communication, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to build enduring relationships with internal and external clients, vendors and partners.

Duties & Responsibilities

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Local Pick-up and Delivery including airport freight transfers.

  • Experience driving truck equipped with a lift gate for local pick up and deliveries.

  • Ability to lift to 70 pounds.

  • Moving boxes and materials that weigh 70 pounds or more using a forklift or hand jack.

  • Proficient in data entry utilizing logistics software and or Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of scanners and handheld devices.

  • Operation of powered jacks/powered trucks.

  • Compliance to TSA and C-TPAT security, SOP’s, Safety, and all other Reilly International policies.

  • Perform all documentation required for function being performed.

Skills and Educational Requirements: Clean Criminal and Driving Record. DOT Medical certification. Forklift experience, Certification would be a plus.  Excellent communications skills, verbal and non-verbal. Working knowledge of CargoWise One logistics software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).

Inter-relationships:     As an in person point of contact for Reilly International, the Client Services Operations Warehouse Support Specialist will collaborate with all levels of personnel within the client company, it’s agents, vendors and customers. You will represent Reilly International at various locations, including on the road. You may occasionally have video calls in support of your clients.

Working conditions:  Work is performed on site at Reilly International warehouse, office, local pickup and delivery locations and on the road.  There may be instances where you make work beyond normal operating hours. There may be instances where your scheduled hours will vary.
