Certifications

As a freight forwarding and licensed customs brokerage firm, Reilly International is an integral part of a sector that successfully transports goods worth $5.3 trillion every year. With that in mind, we are affiliated to several organizations and associations that ensure security, compliance and quality.

CCBFA – Chicago Customs Brokers & Forwarders Assn. is a non-profit organization of international trade members including over 200 firms actively engaged in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and related import/export trade activities. CCBFA conducts seminars and conferences for excellence through education; meets with local government agencies to advocate efficient local policies and provides an open form for all initiatives that impact local trade.

C-TPAT – Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism. Reilly International has been C-TPAT certified as customs broker and consolidator since 2003. C-TPAT began in November 2001 as a partnership to safeguard the trade industry from terrorists. Today, more than 10,000 certified partners include US Importers, highway carriers, rail and sea carriers, customs brokers and terminal operators. The partnership establishes clear supply chain security criteria for members to meet and is working to extend the partnership anti-terrorism principles globally in the international community.

HTFN – Hi-Tech Forwarders Network. Reilly International has been a member since 1994. The HTFN is an established, reliable worldwide network of independent forwarding agents who offer a full range of dependable transportation services and comprehensive logistics solutions for any location in the world. HTFN members must demonstrate financial stability and sound business practices to ensure quality transportation and logistics programs around the globe.

IAC – As a TSA approved Indirect Carrier (IAC), Reilly International works closely with TSA to ensure compliance meets the highest level of security for each shipment. We do everything we can to find the most efficient routing for your goods while maintaining 100% compliance of TSA regulations to ensure the security of the supply chain.

IATA – The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 240 airlines or 84% of total air traffic.

NCBFAA – National Customs Broker & Forwarders Association of America. NCBFAA represents 940 member companies in international trade. It is an effective national voice of the industry. The Association maintains a close watch over legislative and regulatory issues that affect its members which include the nation’s leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transport intermediaries, NVOCCs and air cargo agents.

WBENC – Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council is a third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its world class standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. WBENC is a rigorous, multi-faceted business review process that is conducted by a trained Certification Review Committee to ensure that women-owned businesses are 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or group of women.
